Sigma Theta Tau International Kappa Psi Chapter

The Lake Charles Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, Kappa Psi, was established in 1988. Membership is by invitation to baccalaureate and graduate nursing students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and to nurse leaders exhibiting exceptional achievements in nursing. Induction is held in the Spring of each year to honor these students, as well as to recognize outstanding nurses in the community and install newly elected officers.

Kappa Psi partners with other professional nursing organizations throughout the year to provide educational opportunities for nurses and promote research efforts within the community.
